Your place on the Internet

The Top Websites

by Roger

The Internet and online world has exploded in the last decade or so. Almost everything is online and it is virtually impossible not to find someone attached to a mobile device surfing the web. With that being said, if you want to be noticed you need a web page. However, there are some serious competitors out there to contend with!

Google it!

Of course, Google is the top site by a significant margin. Initially just a search engine, Google now encompasses emails, maps, business sites and much, much more. It is so used that the term ‘Google it’ has come into the language simply to mean search online for something.

Social Media

Never to be outdone, social media sites come in high on the list. Facebook takes the top spot of course with millions of current users and more arriving each day. Branching out into encompassing businesses, video chats, emojis and more, a business isn’t real until it has a business page on Facebook. Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram all feature highly on this list proving that people just love to stay connected.

YouTube takes the top video spot. After all who doesn’t like free access to a multitude of video clips that enable you to laugh at someone else! Elsewhere on the top sites come Amazon and Netflix, both with video access, although along with that privilege comes a small fee.

Having Fun

Then there are the gaming sites. One of the larger industries in the world, the gambling industry sees huge online success. Some of the larger sites such as PokerStars, William Hill, and 888Poker dominate providing a massive range of games from Roulette to slots and live casino options.
Whatever your business, if you want to be seen, you need to get online and make it happen!
